Palin Scrubs Website of Ad That Targeted GiffordsGiffords Jewish, and a STRONG supporter of Israel
Several months ago one of Sarah Palin's websites, TakeBackThe20.com, displayed a poster that indicated their intent to defeat twenty Democratic members of Congress, including Gabrielle Giffords, who had voted for "Obama Care."
This morning, shortly after the news that Congressman Gabrielle Giffords had been shot, the vigilant folks at SarahPac scrubbed the website of the inflammatory image.
Giffords highlighted her Jewish identity as part of her first Congress campaign.Giffords stated on her web site that federal debt is the single biggest threat to our economy and national security today.
“If you want something done, your best bet is to ask a Jewish woman to do it,” she said at the time.
Giffords is the granddaughter of Akiba Hornstein, the son of a Lithuanian rabbi who in the 1940s moved from New York to Tucson.
Gabrielle Giffords first visited Israel in 2001 as an Arizona senator, later saying that she felt very committed to Judaism and that the visit provided her with a basis to better understand who she is and where she came from.
Upon returning to Arizona, she introduced legislation that helped Holocaust survivors.
In a recent visit at the Temple Emanuel synagogue she told the congregation that the US must remain committed to Israel, the Middle East's only democracy. Last week, she wrote in Arizona's Jewish newspaper that there would be no peace in the region before the Palestinian leadership and other organizations accept Israel's right to exist.
On January 7, 2011, Congresswoman Giffords spoke with Bill Hemmer of Fox News about the need to address our nation's debt, beginning with a 5% pay cut for Members of Congress. If families across America must tighten their belts, she believes that Members must do the same in Congress.
Taking on the Federal Reserve and those "Too Big to JAIL" Wall Street banks isn't a recipe for a long and healthy life.

This STINKS of mind control. Another Sirhan Sirhan or Mark David Chapman. The one thing against it being such a one is the other casualties. Usually these guys are very precise and neat when going for their victim.

The Congresswoman seemed to think about her votes and with Palin's fans riled up by her bombast, it could just be a lone loonie, but my hunch is... as I said above.

The shooter was one helluva shot, using his rounds well and going for head shots.
Sounds like he was trained somewhere.
This is another terrifying example of the war on women going on in America.
Although this is a tragic incident, I'm baffled by Arizona residents saying they're shocked and surprised by these murders.
These are the same ones that keep reelecting the certifiable John McCain to the US Senate, who gleefully sang "Bomb, bomb bomb, Bomb, bomb Iran."
So why the surprise when these deadly chickens come home to roost?
